Mishaal (or Mish) is a London/South-East based Writer-Director.

With a focus on telling unheard narratives and finding the creativity in every project, Mish strives to tackle a fresh take on everything, all whilst being dressed as a 90s sitcom sidekick (pictured to the side).
 

Mish was awarded funding from BFI Network for a short which is currently on its festival run. He is an alum of the BFI Film Academy Craft Residential at the NFTS as well as a Westminster Film School graduate. 

With a background in Visual Effects, he also has on-set experience as a VFX PA on Cruella, Pinocchio, and Avenue 5 S1.

 

His freelance VFX clients include Radiohead, Wolf Alice, Cavetown, Pomplamoose and others, alongside working on award-winning shorts, music videos and commercials.
 

At any given time, you are likely to find him scurrying in a bandit-like fashion around the BFI Southbank and the surrounding Waterloo area.
